An ongoing project, this site-specific version of infinite state model 2010.1 is many things.

Small objects in general reflect the everyday - bar of soap, cell phone, apple, lottery ticket, spoon, shopping list, empty cigarette pack, wallet, cookie, tampon, a stone, USB drive etc. They are usually the quiet backdrop to experiential awareness, but also continually define that experience. Likewise, life is a sea of images falling on the retina of the cognitive and imaginal mind, those that move outward from within itself and those that are moving inward - the constant of the visual experience of the world.

ism is a defined field (albeit a tiny fraction) or model for such phenomena.
The work is a form of abstract data-stream of which the individual image-objects are the data-bits, they contain "information", but the real information is in the relationship between the data-bits. That space between the image-objects cannot be prescribed informationally, only interpreted. In other words, the visual data-field is an open book -meaning is optional. There is a story, and the work being ongoing i.e. contains its own history, that story defines its own arc.

The key to the work is not so much the pieces themselves, but the relationship between them, the play between each image-object in whatever form that may take.
